Multilayer foils

Depending on the type of product, designed for packaging, its subsequent storage, transportation, shelf life and use after opening, there is a large variety of multilayer films (often referred to in practice as flexible packaging) Multilayer films should meet several key indicators (elasticity, tensile strength, heat and chemical resistance, color perception, etc.), but the barrier should be the barrier property of the packaging material and the applicability of the material for direct contact with the product (for example a food product) Multilayer films are made of substrates, the individual layers being joined mainly by an adhesive layer or by extrusion of a polymer. With high requirements regarding barrier properties and potential migration of ingredients, for a barrier layer in multilayer films, aluminum foil or a functional polymer is used. The main substrates included in the composition of the multilayer films are:

  • Polypropylene (PP);
  • Polypropylene Metallized;
  • Polyamide (PA);
  • Polyethylene (ON);
  • Polyester (PES);
  • Aluminum (Al), etc..

Guided by many years of experience, we offer multilayer packaging for packaging creamy products (cow butter, margarine, cream mermaid), with printed individual design of the client. The package has uncompromising barrier properties and consists of the following substrates (layers): HDPE, Paper and aluminum foil.
