Cold Press

The cold press  is a more modern method for achieving a metallic effect, in which the application of a special adhesive in the areas is used, where the purpose is to visualize a specific image. When the metallized foil is placed in contact with the adhesive, it adheres to it using a photopolymer cliché, which forms the desired design on the label.

The cold press is not as expensive a technology as hot stamping, as there is no need for a plate / cylinder for hot stamping and due to its increased profitability, is gaining popularity as a preferred option especially in cases, in which the highest image quality is not required. Successfully applied to labels, designed for cosmetic, food and wine.
