Screen printing

This is the only technology, which allows the printing of an even and at the same time very dense layer of ink or varnish. It is most often used when it is necessary to apply a strong cover white ink, serving as a basis for subsequent printing of other colors. Screen printing is used when intense black is needed, gloss, matt or embossed varnish. There is no other printing technology, which allows the printing of light inks on a dark background (for example white text on black paper). UV-based screen inks have very good adhesion (fastening) to the printed material, light and mechanical resistance, making them applicable to labels exposed to external conditions or to cosmetic products, stored in bathrooms and other damp rooms. Screen printing is widely used in wine labels and those for the alcohol industry. For the application of this type of ink, flat or rotary sieves with different mesh are used, depending on the desired effect.. Screen inks are compatible for printing with other printing technologies such as offset, letterpress и flexo.
